My Services And Approach to Therapy

Telehealth therapy sessions are available for individuals, youth, families, and couples. I use a combination of psychodynamic and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) in my approach to working with individuals and youth.

Couples and family work is through the lens of relational and EFT (emotionally focused therapy) models.

The progress you make in therapy is up to you, I will often ask you to work on strategies or mindset in between sessions as this insight can help to inform sessions and will support you in your efforts to create change in your life.

Psychotherapy has both benefits and risks. Risks sometimes include experiencing uncomfortable feelings in the short term. Benefits often include a reduction in stress long-term, an increased ability to maintain close relationships, and the resolution of specific problems.

Our first few session(s) will involve an evaluation of your needs. At the end of the evaluation, I will offer you some initial impressions of what our work may include and an initial treatment plan to follow.
